About this listen

A Dom and a Rigger walk into a bar….

Sounds like the start of a good joke, but for Cody and me, it's grounds for friendship and nothing more.

Anything else would require acknowledging the barriers between us and the desires we keep hidden.

Invisible scars of war meet impenetrable walls of distrust. An impasse neither of us knows how to overcome until a newbie walks through the doors of The Garden.

Oakley finds himself in need of rescuing and a fair amount of guidance, a challenge Cody and I are willing to accept. But once we begin, it's clear there is more between us than just lessons.

Emotions are building, walls are crumbling, and the three of us are all scrambling for purchase in a dynamic we never expected to find.

Will the three of us be able to find happiness together, or will we be forced to accept our lives as Just Enough?

Audiobook review:
Dan Levy is a new to me narrator. I enjoyed his nareation of this book. I recently read the book and I found his narration fitting and felt natural for the book. It was a very pleasant ans hot listen which a recommend. 🎧 4,5*

Harmony wrote a book with wonderful characters Aaron & Cody are Doms who have become friends in the precious year since their best friends got together Enough book 1: More than Enough.
When they go for their weekly Sunday breakfast, they have Oakley as their usual server. I liked that he took that job as a side job to be around people on his parents insistance.

The characters all have layers and are well deceloped and where easy enough to sympathize with or relate to. I found the support and compassion they showed to one another, be it when ill, in a scene or their daily live wonderfully done.

There is attraction and pull beteen both Aaron and Cody, but it is complicated in their minds. Oakley is just the person who brings them all together as a couple and they all as an MMM/ polyamory BDSM kink relationship together. 📚 5*

This is the second book in the series but can be read a standalone.

Beware of the triggers mentioned by the author before reading.

Overall 5*

Sizzling with heart

I enjoyed this one just as much, if not more than the first book. I absolutely could not put this down and finished in well under 4 hours. Even though it was shortish, it wasn't rushed. Though I did wish that mentioned off page scene at the end was included. That would have made it even better but it was still a fabulous read as is. It can be read as a standalone.

This was very sweet, very steamy and had no angst. The friends don't play a huge role but they are mentioned and I can't wait to read the next book. Despite their limited role this is a great world the author has created with a group of great supportive friends. I was totally sucked in from the very first page til the very end. There were so many different elements to the plot; friends to lovers, a newbie sub wanting to learn and soldiers dealing with the physical and psychological side effects of war. There was so much hurt/comfort that I found it swoony sweet and very realistic and emotional and very heartwarming. I loved all 3 characters, thought they all had great chemistry and completed each other perfectly and that each character and the relationship was developed perfectly.

I absolutely recommend this and the first. I need the next one like yesterday.

Narration = 4.5 stars

The narrator did a great job. They had a very pleasant reading voice. They expressed the emotions wonderfully and brought the story to life. He differentiated the voices of the side characters and gave Oakley his own distinct voice that suited the character well. Unfortunately the 2 doms sounded the same to me so I left off half a star for that. Otherwise it was a fantastic listening experience.

Loved this one just as much as the first

Just Enough is the second book in the Enough series. It can be read as a standalone very easily which was great because I didn’t realize this book was part of series when I began it. I was able to follow along with no issues and really enjoyed the story.

The characters really are the best part of this book. I adore Oakley (and his parents) and he fit in so well with Aaron and Cody. There really wasn’t too much external conflict, but the way the characters handled their internal issues was interesting. The character growth was done very well and the transformation each man undertook was satisfying.

The audiobook was narrated by Dan Levy who has a lovely narration style. I enjoyed how how he voiced each character. The audiobook production quality was good for the most part but there was a small point where there was some white noise that was audible for little bit. But overall, I enjoyed this audiobook a lot.

Sometimes I snap up books when they come my way without reading the synopsis. Did that with this book and was pleasantly surprised to find it was a BDSM book. As a fan of whips, floggers, and rope, this book had immediate appeal to me. And I love MMM, so I was completely onboard.

I liked Aaron. He’s a vet who’s recovering from injuries in theater and he’s trying to make a go of civilian life. He’s got some good friends and especially his buddy Cody. His buddy he’s half in love with. The problem? They’re both Doms. And mostly both Tops. So that doesn’t leave much room in the relationship for submission between the two of them. Still, they go for breakfast every Sunday morning at a diner where they’ve met Oakley.

Oakley works as a programmer but also works at the diner so he can spend time with people. He especially loves his regulars. The big men are just his speed – especially when he overhears them talking about ropes. That sends Oakley down the rabbit hole of BDSM and soon he’s wanting to know more.

A chance encounter at The Garden – a BDSM club – has the three men circling each other. Oakley’s willing to submit to these two men for a chance to learn if this submission thing is for him – and what his limits truly are. Cody and Aaron are happy to co-top, but soon things become complicated as the men get more and more involved.

I liked the dynamic between the three. It just worked. And I was happy they were able to find a relationship that worked for all of them. I missed the first book in the series but was fine without it. I might go back and listen, though, to get Cody and Aaron’s buddies’ story.

I thought Dan Levy did a good job narrating. I’ll certainly listen to him again and will happily pick up more B. Harmony books.

Not what I expected – in a good way

The emotional connections in this story are amusing and touching, but the kink was the best part. I was a little hesitant at the "kink will fix your emotional issues" aspect, but they didn't stop seeing a therapist, so it was all good. And I liked that they were all so focused on helping each other.
Oakley's parents were a hoot!

I love the kink
