Summary

Delphine has traveled the country, but life on the road is lonesome for a teen. She’s never had friends her own age, a job, or her first kiss. When her grandmother buys a house in Juniper, it seems like everything Delphine longs for is finally within reach. She quickly makes friends, but Abe, the one friend she wants the most, keeps pushing her away.

When Abe meets Delphine at the Founder’s Day Festival on her first day in town, he can’t deny that she intrigues him. But his life is too complicated to make time for friends. His father is getting out of prison, and Abe doesn’t want him to return to Juniper and undo all the changes of the last four years. But how can he keep that from happening? And can he dare let Delphine be his friend and find out about his past?

Where earth meets sky

I really enjoyed Abe and Delphene‘s story. It was sad to see the impact that Abe‘s father‘s arrest had on Abe, but it was nice to see how Delphene was able to draw him back out into the real world again. I truly enjoy the way this writer gets into the hearts and minds of her characters, and how this narrator brings them to life. Definitely a series worth reading.

Realistic YA romance

I really enjoy Lora Richardson’s writing. I found myself wanting to listen to just one more chapter when it was already way past bedtime. This story doesn’t shy away from real life challenges, and I liked the well-written characters. This is a great story for YA. I haven’t listened to the first 2 books, and still really enjoyed this one. The narrator did a great job.

It was sweet

It was so sweet. I love the angst, the discovery, the imperfections of life as well as the small town feel. I most especially loved the family aspect.
