Summary
When the cards are stacked against you, the Kings will even the odds.
Eduardo “Lucky” Morales is a fighter, from his childhood days in Cuba to his time as a Special Forces Green Beret. Scarred by the wars of his past, Lucky has learned nothing lasts forever. Guarding his heart is second nature, and getting emotionally involved is not an option. As co-owner of Four Kings Security, Lucky works hard alongside his former brothers-in-arms and fellow Kings, but he also plays hard. Flirting with sexy Texas cowboy and detective Mason Cooper is too much fun to resist, until Mason turns the tables on him.
Mason Cooper may not be a soldier, but he’s fought his share of battles as an openly gay cop and now a detective for Major Crimes. Mason has no idea when things changed between him and Lucky, but the gorgeous, fiery Cuban has turned his world upside down. When a mistake leads to his suspension from the force, Mason turns to the least likely person for help: Ward Kingston.
Determined to keep Mason at arms’ length, Lucky is surprised to find the man at Four Kings Security. The Florida nights might be getting cooler, but the heat between Lucky and Mason burns hotter with every passing moment. Working private security can be dangerous and unpredictable, but so can falling in love.

Sweet , spicy, and funny
This book had me laughing one minute, so frustrated with these guys the next, and then heart broken for them, too. I could really feel their connection and their hesitation to admit it too each other. I adore how Charlie is able to keep alive all of the personalities of the other characters from past books in her current ones too. While each book is a great new adventure its also like coming home to hand out with old friends.

An excellent way to enjoy this newest addition!
This is Mason and Luck's story and it does not disappoint :) Lucky has teased Mason for a little while, leaving Mason unsure of where he is on Lucky's radar. When Mason has to temporarily work with the Kings, the 2 men really get to know each other better and learn to open up to each other. The story is a combination of sweet, funny and heat.
Greg Boudreaux always gives a great performance - this is no exception. He (Greg) has the most amazing talent of immersing himself in each of the characters and making each one shine, no matter if they have only have one or 100 lines. I loved listening to how Lucky and Mason were voiced - so hot in different ways. This is an excellent way (possibly the best way) to listen to this book (and the entire series).
I was provided a copy of the book. The opinions expressed are my own and provided without any expectations.

Lucky Mason?
This is the third book in the Four Kings Security series by Charlie Cochet, one of my favourite authors, and Greg Boudreaux, one of my top 10 favourite narrators does a great job of giving the guys a voice and binging their adventure to life.
This one starts with Lucky racing off on his motorbike, furious at detective Mason Cooper for lying to him after getting his hopes up about their burgeoning relationship. Lucky has a fiery temper and it takes a dip in the ocean to cool him off.
Two months later, they still haven't gotten over their falling out, causing Mason to make a mistake at work that could have devastating consequences to his career. Enter King and Four Kings Security, taking on board the suspended detective on a temporary trial basis. King pairs the two and what fallows is quite a romp with plenty of sexy man times while the two even manage to get through several jobs together. A must for all Charlie Cochet fans everywhere.

As great as the book
If you like Charlie Cochet’s books then you will love having Greg Boudreaux give life to Lucky and Mason in this book, all the snark and inner monologues silkily spoken and that Cuban in his accent was a delight.
Lucky and Mason have been butting heads for some time it’s obvious that they are attracted to each other. When Mason has trouble at work he turns to King for help, King then makes Mason and Lucky work together so they can workout their differences with a HEA. This well written book makes a fantastic audio book that you can loose yourself in. Highly recommend.

Lucky and Masons book is fantastic to read but listening to it is another level of humour and storytelling that the book didn't reach don't get me wrong I loved the book a lot. Greg Boudreaux was very entertaining to listen to his take on Lucy and Mason was outstanding, if I could have given more stars I definitely would have done, very enjoyable listening to,

Mason and Lucky are wonderfully complex but compatible characters, brought to life by the incredibly talented Greg Boudreaux, he can speak Spanish to me any time! (Fanning myself)

I adore Lucky and Mason
The narrator is incredible at the different characters with their different accents and personality, you really can't tell it's the same person which I have never experienced before.
The story is incredible and the audio only adds to how great the book is with the narrator showing every emotion through his tone, it really is amazing to listen to and to experienced it in a different way to just reading the book.
I would recommend this to anyone as the book and series is brilliant on its own but it really adds something to listen to it in audio version.

Love in Spades is a dual POV romance with lots of action and hot and sexy times, great humor, some suspense, little angst, and a jaw-dropping ending. I love the epilogue, which is actually the teaser for the next book, Diamond in the Rough, which will center around King, and looks like it’s going to be really, really good.
The story is my favorite so far in the series but I loved it even more in audio. Once again Greg Tremblay (under his sexier Boudreaux brand) does a phenomenal job. Great character voices, his timing and pacing is on point, he finesses the humor, emotional, and action elements equally well, and is simply a pleasure to listen to.
This is a fun listen! Hell, the whole series has been nothing but delightful to listen to. Greg Tremblay is at the top of his game and is so smooth in his delivery it makes the time fly by while listening to this.
Take my advice, if you like action with your romance, a lot of heat, with a sprinkling of humor, and a great ending? Grab this series now.

It's Lucky's Turn
This volume of The Four Kings Security stars Lucky and his romantic interest, Mason.
It is an excellent addition to the series, and Greg Boudreaux narrator, makes it a fun book to listen to. The Texas drawl, and Spanish/Cuban accents keep the characters separate, and (pardon the pun) in character.
Four Kings is my personal favorite series, and I am left happy with a good ending for this volume, as well as an amazing teaser for the upcoming book. Enjoy!

Cochet and Boudreaux are a great team!
The story pulled me in and kept my interest past the end into the preview of the next book. Cochet is on my short list of great authors in this genre. Boudreaux is a top-notch narrator and tells the story smoothly and with great variety in voice and emphasis. He is also a favorite in my lists. I can rely on a great product from either. Together they excel.

Better than the first two...
I've read Charlie Cochet's works before but I've never been able to like any of them. They're forgettable. And I'm not too crazy about her characters either. I don't know there's just something about her way of story/writing that doesn't resonate with me so I was surprised that I actually enjoyed this third book in the Four King Security series. I definitely didn't like either one of the first two. Ace, in the first book, was annoying as hell. Laz, in the second, was weak. But I found Lucky and Mason interesting and their chemistry in my opinion felt more down-to-earth. I think because Cochet actually gave these two men more cultures and background so they seemed better fleshed out.
Overall: A good read/listening. And the Narrator, Greg Boudreaux, is always a plus in my opinion. The man never fails.

This was an Excellent follow up to the last one,and with the ending the next is going to be better. I had become curious about Mason in the last one and wanted to know more,I was not disappointed. Lucky was portrayed as a Playboy and I found that the image was hiding so much underneath. This series has great character building and the world building is amazing. Lucky has attitude to spare and he isn't afraid to show it. He definitely has no problem showing it to Mason. Mason knows that Lucky isn't happy with him, but he wants Lucky. When Mason gets suspended at work, he does something he never thought about. He asks King to hire him on temporarily. King has a plan. When Lucky finds out that he will be working with Mason, he just enjoys that he will be the boss.
I don't want to give things away so I'm going to stick with my vague description. I enjoyed the story and I love Greg Boudreaux's narrations and this doesn't disappoint.

Fun, action-packed, sexy goodness!
5 Stars!
Join the Club is book 3 in the Four Kings Security by Charlie Cochet and I strongly suggest you read the series in order because there are a lot of recurring characters and sort of an ongoing plotline. Plus, it's a really good series and trust me, you don't want to miss a minute of it.
We met Lucky and Mason in the previous installments and so far, they're my favorite couple. Not only did they have scorching chemistry, but they were really fun together. I loved seeing them go from frenemies to lovers and fix their issues, with the help of their friends, especially King. Who knew King could be such an evil mastermind? LOL It was amazing to see Lucky and Mason working the cases they were assigned, they really complemented each other perfectly both in and out of the bedroom.
I also loved catching up with the rest of the Four Kings gang and OMG, that epilogue just left me wanting to read King's book as fast as possible!
While I loved reading the book, if you could only pick one or the other, I'd probably get the audiobook. Greg Boudreaux did a fantastic job bringing Lucky, Mason and the rest of the Kings to life. I tip my hat to him over Lucky and Mason's accents, because they were both marked enough while still being perfectly understandable and Greg's Spanish pronunciation was very near perfect. Nevermind that he took what was already a fun, action-packed, sexy, fast-paced read and somehow made it even better and OMG, those explosively hot sex scenes in his voice? *fans self and melts in a puddle of Mari-goo*
Highly recommendable!

This series has become a favorite!
I adored these two! Gah! They were fun and flirty but they could also be sweet and serious, and the more time they spent with each other, the more it become obvious to the two of them--because, hello, everyone else seemed to get that they belonged together!--that they were worth the risk of possible heartache should things go south. I like the bits and pieces readers get of the six guys who make up the very core of Four Kings Security in each book, so that when their story is ready to be told, the anticipation is at its precipice. I appreciated that when it came to Lucky and Mason's story, there wasn't just one particular case that they were handling but a couple that highlighted that these two shared a connection that couldn't be denied and the sort of chemistry that had me wanting to smack their heads together so that they would see sense and get on with giving in to their feelings. From the direction of the story to the participation of the rest of the characters, Join the Club turned out to be one of my favorites, not just in the Four Kings Security series, but from Charlie Cochet's current books. And what can I say about Greg Boudreaux that I haven't said in my past reviews that had him as the narrator? Le sigh. He's got a gift, and I'm just glad I get to listen to him by way of some of my favorite authors and favorite audiobooks out there. Five-plus stars! ♥
