Editor reviews

Perhaps if everyone - not just 92nd Street Y audiences - had listened to John Kerry and his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, in 2007, when they spoke of manmade threats to the environment, today's global warming phenomenon would not be so overlooked, or so dire. In this conversation with the great Charlie Rose, the Secretary of State (then senator) and his accomplished wife (who is fluent in five languages) discuss their co-authored book entitled This Moment on Earth: Today's New Environmentalists and Their Vision for the Future. The couple met on Earth Day, and their passion for the environment, as well as for each other, shines through in this recording.

Summary

We all know John Kerry as the candidate who didn't win the 2004 election. In this program, see another side of the man as he and his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, discuss their philanthropic work to save our environment.
