This last visit to Token Creek initially takes us back in time to learn Jessie’s story. Then the narrative comes back to the ‘present’ with Seth’s unexpected return. Jessie slowly learns to trust and feel again as she sees the big change Christ has made in her husband. In doing so she also in time starts to open her heart to the gospel with the help of her friends. It is another gentle, easy-to-listen story with biblical truths woven throughout - as all Lori Wick books are.
(There is also a nice link back to ‘A Texas Sky’ - the second of the Yellow Rose Trilogy.)
Again - good narration.
