best book

I keep hearing all the time that tech is where it's at for jobs and I regret getting a useless degree in English.

The book is a reference that can be of use to anyone working in JavaScript but it is not a beginner how-to. The book should be seen as a guide for the experienced Web worker, especially those involved in making Web applications.

great book

I would recommend following this book up with "Javascript: The Good Parts" and making sure you fully grok how to use closures to avoid namespace pollution.
