About this listen

1942: Saba Tarcan is a talented young singer with big dreams. So when an opportunity arises to entertain the troops in the Middle East, she jumps at the chance, cutting short a burgeoning love affair with a young RAF pilot, Dom. It soon becomes clear that entertaining won’t be Saba’s only mission. It's a move that will jeopardize not only her own safety, but also the love of her life.

New author to me . Another side to war keeping up moral . Fantastic location descriptions and twisting , engaging story with plausible characters. Buy with confidence.

This is first book I read by this author and dont know if I would go for another. The story was interesting in part and then became not so interesting and I continued to the end as I did not wish to give up. The subject matter really drew me in at the beginning and I thought it would make a really good story but it didnt seem to go anywhere really for me and while the ending was nice it was just that OK but not memorable and I looked forward to the end so I could move onto next book.
I really enjoyed the narration and would read another book by this reader and would recommend her.
Others have given it good reviews so maybe it was just me not enjoying it. Good luck with it if you decide to try it.
