Summary

Ever wondered what sort of a police officer you might make?

Alfie Moore spent 18 years on the Humberside police force before turning to stand-up comedy. In each episode of this live stand-up show, he takes his audience through a scenario based on a real-life case and tasks them with deciding how they would have acted in the circumstances.

From drink driving to a missing gnome, road traffic collisions to the tricky subject of Stop and Search, not to mention a case in which you must imagine what it would be like if Bruce Lee came from Scunthorpe and had been hammering the kebabs for 20 years....

Along the way Alfie spills the beans on what it's really like to be one of Britain's finest, tells us some great anecdotes about law breakers and makers that he's come across and gets his audience to divulge secrets about their own, sometimes less than strictly law-abiding lives.

Very good

I liked the different choices and how Alfie Moore didn’t just tell his story. I would recommend to all police offices as it will be very relatable

The laughing policeman?

I always listen to Alfie on the radio so couldn't resist the chance to own these shows.
It is so funny but based on legal and moral questions.
It is also interesting to learn some pointed facts about our legal system and how it works but all wrapped up in a spontaneous and so funny narrative.
Brilliant.

Just brilliant... so original

Worth every ounce a listen. He is a brilliant narrator and clearly still has such affection for the police. So nice to hear something that is so uniquely original.

Very funny because it’s true

I find Alfie’s interactive take on comical policing matters to be hilarious. Only a comedy genius could take such dry and serious subjects and make us all laugh as he has done. I hope he makes many more series to come!

Best ever comedy show

Seriously funny and gloriously entertaining.
So delighted to be able to buy this I've been desperate for it to appear on audible. Very funny.

If you like British comedy - listen to this

A collection of BBC Comedy Podcasts (each episode is about 25-35min long) this series is so incredibly funny you will frantically search for more content by PC A Moore.

Factual and funny (I mean laugh out loud madly funny...), each episode walks you down the decision tree of missteps and discretion a police officer makes every day.

I can not recommend enough, and as a bonus fact if you like this, search for the podcast “No Such Thing As A Fish”
