One of Carole’s best
I listened while driving and towards the end found myself grinning for the last 15 minutes of the book.

Such a heart warming story

A really great story of relationships good and bad , I love the way Carole brings it all together without the fairytale type ending.
Julia’s narration suits the story and the characters

Such an encouraging story

This book felt like it was really drawn out - constant repeats about fish/fishing. It seemed to really slow in the middle then rushed at the end. I felt the author made Annie and Lauren seem way beyond their years the way they were described, yet they are only 39. It was narrated as if they were in their late 60s to be honest. I did enjoy it and listened to it right to the end but I'm not sure I would recommend this one. Love Carole Matthews but this one wasn't for me 👍

Dragged on a bit

I thought the narrator Julia Franklin sounded like a grannie rather than a 39 year old, her voice was wrong for this book.

Carole Matthews however never disappoints and this story about 39 yr old identical twin sisters and their 40 year old sister was lovely.

I laughed in parts, especially when the sisters dressed up as playboy bunnies to wash cars to fundraise money for Alana's altruistic trip away to Peru. I also loved the family aspect of the book with 2 of the sisters married with 2 children and the other having a 5 year long affair with a married man.

Yes I recommend this listen if it was in one of the sales🌠
