I really liked this story. Well written, good character development and a believable storyline. Highly recommend this. Great romance with just enough angst thrown in.

this started out like a bit of a simple romance romp, but actually became a mature examination of how childhood trauma can limit your adult self and make you withdraw from people... I really liked the emotional honesty and intensity in this book.
I'm mixed about the reader.... for me she's a bit stilted at times, but does have some great moments.... not sure what was going on there... I've heard a lot worse, but also a lot better... the sample is a fair sample of her style...

Excellent full story filled with struggles and compassion. A stellar performance from Lori prince , who should get an Oscar, credit where credit is due.

Fantastic from start to finish. Loved the dialogue and the relationship between all of the characters. Excellent love scenes (and there are a few). Narrator did a great job, sometimes a bit slow and you wanted her to pick up the pace but you get used to her voice once you get into the brilliant story and sub plots. She really brings the characters to life and had me laughing out loud in places and wanting to sob in others. do it.
