Summary
Ruth "Ruthless" Harper is on the verge of becoming managing partner at her all-male consulting firm and she won't let anything stand in her way. That includes men, relationships, and that dreaded F word, feelings - distractions she eliminated long ago.
After the worst day ever (a near-death experience and a public wedgie, for starters), Ruth realizes she doesn't want to live and die alone. She puts together a business plan to find the perfect man and dives head first into the murky online dating pool. All she wants is a high-powered executive who understands how important her career is. If only it were that easy.
Problem is most men are intimidated by Ruth's confidence and shocked by her bluntness. The exception being her landscape designer, Nick, whose cool demeanor and unsolicited dating advice are driving her nuts. He's the antithesis of the business-oriented man Ruth envisions for herself, so why do all signs keep pointing back to him?

Brilliant story
Another fantastic fun story that will have you captivated from start to finish and devouring in one sitting if you're like me!
The narrator grabs and keeps your attention throughout and really brings the story to life!

Clean middle life romance
Clean romances aren’t usually my thing, they don’t usually give my all the skin tingles. But this book was just a complete pleasure.
I popped it on for an afternoon of weeding and it was perfect. Think middle life Hallmark movie, nothing spicy just an adorable story of a workaholic and a landscape designer falling in looove.

The girl with stars in her eyes
Captivating story, somewhat predictable, although how it got there was funny. Great story line and didn’t realise the time go by I enjoyed it so much.

Great romcom
I had a great time reading and listening (simultaneously) to this Romcom. It's not really original but it was fun. She is a workaholic and after a best death experience she decided to get a life and a man. Her new friendship with a contractor appears to get in the way to her many, disastrous dates. Those bad dates are all over-the-top stereotypes (I found it all very funny). We get a hea.
Narration was great.
Free on KU and plus catalogue audible too.

Pretty woman in reverse
I did really like the book but part of the storyline is from pretty woman, and I knew it would be quite early on
