This is it! Exactly what I always say about sports, more specifically when I'm running, and it's only me and my head, trying to achieve the end of the training section. We create so many excuses or reasons to stop achieving a goal because our own minds sabotage us. I absolutely loved listening to this book!

Although I don't strive to succeed in sports I do strive to succeed in many other areas of my life. I have been feeling down on life lately wondering how to be more successful, and the answer is mental toughness. This book has taught me so much about how to control my mind power in order to achieve the things that I want.

What I enjoyed the most about this book were the tips on how to stop distractions from sabotaging my progress. This is the area I have been struggling with the most. But not anymore!

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for inspiration and motivation in life.

This is a great audiobook filled with excellent content and tips, and a reminder of the vital importance of mind power. As a stroke survivor I enjoyed listening to this, and one can apply some of these principles to one's life generally. I played the audio for my sons too who are both big sports lovers and they said they also found the content valuable. I particularly resonated with the sections on routine and adaptability, but everything actually was super awesome! And fantastic narration too.
