I liked it a very good story and a good plot at the end loved the voice

As a psychologist myself i found it intriguing and yes many times a childhood trauma if handled wrongly can become a complete different narrative.
Found few cliches, but overall the story is good listen.

I hadn’t read anything by the author before or listened to the narrator before but got hooked by the blurb and the comparison to other authors I like. I was very wary though whether it could keep up to the high expectations.

It very much surprised me though that it was keeping all the promises and more. The characters were well written and not only was the story up and down to keep the tension and surprises going but even the characters changed in the perception of the bystander: it was never clear cut who were the good guys and who were the villains. They were hunches and gut feelings but still always doubt we’re this was going or end up with. Twists and turns but not all in the story, many occurred in my head as I couldn’t make my mind up.

I really enjoyed the rollercoaster ride from start to finish and in between (no parts tempted me to skip as it was clear you needed it all) and can really recommend it.

The narration was good and I’m looking for other books from the same author or read by the same narrator.

My first by this author. I really enjoyed this book. The climax was a little on the farfetched and crazy side, as often happens, but a great listen overall.
