I was bought up watching and listening to Jimmy Perry’s work, and vividly remember enjoying “it ain’t half hot”. It’s the nostalgia that makes for a warm and fuzzy feeling listening to these episodes again.

This and “Dads Army” are some of the best of British comedy to be found, enjoy.

I grew up on Perry & Croft,Dads Army,It ain’t arf hot mum,Hi de Hi,and you rang ma lord,listening to this SMALL selection of audio recordings brings me back to sitting with my dad and watching Sgt mar Williams shout and bawl,love it,just wish there were more recordings to listen to
