Brutal horror. But not always from the directions you expect. Armed with righteous anger at the modern world and a solid understanding of how we got here, the author sets up a really obvious twist ending for most of the book, and then swerves a couple of times to keep you on your toes. Excellent work, brilliantly narrated.
