Loved this book so much, bought it years ago in paper back and thought I would love to listen to it in audio, until the narrator did her attempt at an Irish accent. It totally ruined the book for me.

The book was fair, it was too short to truly develop the characters or the feelings between them, but not bad. The narrator was fine except for the forced and exaggerated Irish accent. Unfortunately, she should accept that she can't do a realistic Irish accent. There were also several inaccuracies about Irish culture which is quite unlike Nora Roberts.

Nora Roberts is a favourite author of mine, but Irish Thoroughbred was more like romance for teenagers and I found the voice of the narrator very irritating.
