Diamond may be used to saving the world, but can she save her own relationship?

With her husband’s killer still on the loose and her life in England a disaster, Diamond returns to the only thing she knows: work. As the star of special ops takes on enemies from the States to Syria, she finds that the toughest battle is the one going on in her own head.

While she faces her demons, the man she left behind is involved in his own struggle when a beautiful stranger crosses his path. Will Luke give in to the ultimate temptation?

Great narration and great story following on from the last book. One review says the back story is too long but it really explains Black and Emmy’s personalities and controversial marriage. Having listened to all the available Elise Noble audiobooks, please can we have more with Sarah Kempton narrating.

A brilliant page turner!

My favourite bit of this book has to be Emmy's letter to her dead husband, the characters are well developed and relatable. A great mix of romance, action, suspense and humour.

Fast paced well researched action

Once again, the narration on this is fabulous. The book starts where the first one ends and you expect it to either, get romantic or become thrilling but it doesent, it goes into the main characters back story, which would be ok for a chapter or two but this rattles on for nearly half the book. Eventually you get to a really good, exciting, thrilling story that does not disappoint.
It is worth reading/listening but should have been shorter.

Enjoyable but...
