About this listen

When Allison is asked to play Cinderella-turned-fiancé at a Halloween ball, the last thing she expected was to be accused of murder. She has to find the killer or she'll be put to death for the crimes she didn't commit. To make matters worse, the victims are all werewolves.

On the short list of potential victims, Allison has to act fast, or the killer will have one more body to add to his little black book of corpses.

I love R J Blain's stories. The characters are great, the dialogue sassy and I'll read them over a lot of other books. I won't listen to Keira Grace anymore. I've suffered a couple of books of hers and the down note at the end of every sentence is driving me nuts. While she has a pleasant tone, the words she emphasises gives the impression she doesn't understand all of them. The gaps in some sentences are in the wrong place - does she read the work before she performs it? I think reading out loud, narrating, is a fine skill. I think she needs to practise more.

I can't listen to the voice anymore.
