About this listen

This collection is full of brooding bad boys. Start your binge listen now!

The men of tattoo shop Inked Hearts are brooding, bossy, and impossible to resist!

Dive into this addicting series and see why readers say "Crystal Kaswell is the queen of broken bad boys."

This romance collection contains the first three books on the Inked Hearts series.

Tempting
He's my best friend's brother. He's off limits. But when I find the brooding tattoo artist's sketchbook full of dirty drawings - drawings of me - I can't resist.

Hooking Up
Sweet, booksmart grad student Iris and I have a friends with benefits arrangement with three simple rules. All fun. No strings. No falling in love. But then I've never been very good at following rules.

Pretend You're Mine
I'm pretending I'm in love with my best friend. What could possibly go wrong?

Leighton is my best friend. Pretending she's my girlfriend is a terrible idea, even if the entire world is expecting the breakdown of the year at my ex's wedding. Then she kisses me...and I forget we're pretending.

I loved this series with the men of Inked heart in this boxset I got my favorite romance tropes. Bestfriends older brother, Friends with benefits, and friends to lovers what more can a girl ask for, Each of these men is different which I love and they support each other. The female characters are unique as well and are strong characters. I loved the narration of Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. I received this boxset for a honest review.

Crystal Kaswell writes real life people. She doesn't shy away from addictions and damaged people. She makes you feel all the feels, and I'm here for it! This collection is awesome. Having three amazing books all in one credit. Of course Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are absolutely phenomenal!

I love all three of these stories and I love even more that they are bundled together for only one credit. Each story is a standalone but the series revolves around the owners of a tattoo shop so the characters are all interconnected. They are all likable and the stories are engaging and angsty. I can't wait to listen to more books in this series. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross, as always, did a beautiful job with their duet narration.

This amazing boxed set includes three full length novels: Tempting, Hooking Up, and Pretend You're Mine. This is a great value! Each story is beautifully written, emotional, and intriguing. The characters are great, and well developed. I loved to follow the men of the tattoo shop Inked Hearts in their journey to love. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross did a great job with the narration. I love their voice together. I enjoyed it.

Great Boxed Set!

There are three books in this box set, three stories revolving around a tattoo parlor, Inked hearts. Each story focuses on a couple, each with its own trope–so there’s something for everyone!

I thought the first book was the weakest. I loved the characters, and their relationship was interesting, but I wasn’t a fan of the BDSM touch. It was out of place–especially since Kaylee is barely over 18. But it was a good way to introduce the other characters.

Walker’s struggles with addiction–not his, but of people around him–and Ryan’s struggles with betrayal–after his ex cheated on him–were nothing original, but I thought they were done well enough. The women who enter their lives find ways to help them heal. I especially enjoyed Ryan and Leighton’s story, and the way Ryan slowly opened himself to happiness after being the gloomy of the team for so long.

The writing isn’t always all that good though. There are multiple repetitions of the same phrases and sentences, sometimes so close to each other that they seem to echo. It’s especially noticeable in the intimate scenes.

As for the narration, done in duet style, it became better and better with each book. I thought the male narrator’s voice was perfect for Ryan–but the voice he does for Dean makes me want to listen to the next book in the series. The female narrator connected best with Iris, in my opinion. But they both do a good job anyway.

There’s something for everyone
