Summary

From the New York Times best-selling author of The Family Business crime series comes the next installment in his provocative legal thriller series about the Hudson family, owners of a powerful law firm in Harlem.

Singing sensation Savannah Kirby has won 13 Grammys and married the man of her dreams in superstar rapper/actor Kyle Kirby. Together they are of one of the most dynamic and powerful couples in entertainment - until Kyle is found murdered and Savannah is arrested for the crime.

Things don’t look good for the singer when she can’t keep her stories straight and her bloody fingerprints are found on the murder weapon. Even with famed attorney Bradley Hudson and his family of lawyers handling her case, it looks like Savannah is headed to jail.

However, this isn’t Bradley’s first rodeo, and he’s always got an ace up his sleeve

Good Story Fast Paced

Enjoyed. Narrators not the same as Influences. Hard to listen to. Glad I finished it.

Poorly written a very rushed book no real depth to it! Horrible narrators!

The previous influence book was absolutely great well thought out well planned and intriguing. This was a chore to listen to many times I contemplated returning the book but hoped it will get better. Only because it was Carl Weber that I continue to finish the book and it didn’t get any better. The story was very flat and one dimensional. So much that if I was able to give it a negative score I would on all three areas the overall book the performances and especially the story. Rarely do I write reviews as a matter fact this is the first review I’ve written. And I’ve been an audiobook listener for years. I truly hope in any third book it redeems itself again influence one was a great book this one horrible like Oil and water.
