Summary

It’s summertime in Silverdale and the warm weather has brought some new additions to town. A brand new café has just opened up and Ian’s new business is booming. But it’s not all sunshine and roses as the influx of out-of-towners causes friction.

Times of Trouble

In the rough times is another great addition to this series. This time a multiple kidnapping of babies draws Hilda Jo into another investigation. Irene has gone visiting her son so Hilda is left to solve the mystery on her own. Carol Anne Shaws narration is excellent once again and brings the whole book to life.
I was kindly given a copy of the book and leave this honest review.
