Really well read with strong characters and a fantastic plot (no spoilers!). Kept me gripped all the way through. Also a really great portrayal of the lovely Kent Countryside. Can’t wait for the next one please. 😊

A cosy read that is full of intrigue, and the plot-line keeps you gripped right through to the end. The characters are engaging and well drawn, and the reader has a beautiful voice, that is completely right for the book. A most enjoyable book to listen to.

I enjoyed the story very much with lots of twists and turns. However, I found the narrator rather irritating and her over exuberance in parts was not suitable for the storyline.
I am sad to see it is still the same narrator for the next book and will probably read that on my kindle.
