The way Yarros has me feeling everything throughout her novels is something special. I love her writing. I love her characters and the ones in this story are no exception. The connection is so strong and the story so well paced I struggled to put it down. So good. So worth your time to listen.

It is a love story that builds over time. You get to understand the characters and get invested in their story. Great narration. Read in 2 days.

I liked the character development and the plot was realistic in a way that spoke to my previous experiences. But the warzone part left a lot of gaps. However, this story is a love story - not a war story - so I can live with that! Just made it a bit confusing to listen to. Enjoyed hearing all the pieces to this tale come together.
