Her dream home will become her worst nightmare…

A strange encounter
Neve comes across a troubled woman called Isabelle on Waterloo Bridge late one night. Isabelle forces a parcel into Neve’s hands and jumps to her death in the icy Thames below.

An unexpected gift

A twisted secret
But when Neve arrives, alone in the dark woods late one night, she finds a sinister-looking bungalow with bars across its windows. And her dream home quickly becomes her worst nightmare – a house hiding a twisted secret that will change her life forever…

‘The Girl on the Train meets Notes on a Scandal. I read it one sitting, totally gripped.’ Erin Kelly

Ruth Ware, author of In A Dark Dark Wood

Beautifully plotted, genuinely creepy with a peppering of dark humour – everything you want in a perfect thriller’ Elizabeth Haynes

‘I powered through the fantastic Don’t You Cry – it's twisty, original, and impossible to put down!’ Roz Watkins

'A compulsive, addictive read, cast with unnerving characters and a premise that packs a real emotional punch’ Lucy Clarke

‘I found it impossible to put Don’t You Cry down. It’s claustrophobic and tense, and, as the layers are masterfully peeled back, there is a sense of real menace. Truly gripping’ Alex Lake, bestselling author of After Anna

A great 'read'!

Good book performed well but slightly a predictable and anticlimactic ending. I would have preferred a bit more excitement but without giving too much away it was still fairly enjoyable.

Good book but anticlimactic

An original idea for a book and I liked that the characters were not cliched.
However I found the story lacked something, I guessed the so called twists very early on in the book therefore there were no surprises. The narrator sounded like she had a cold and the book limped along to it's conclusion.

Intriguing yet gentle. The story wasn’t far fetched unlike some others and the narration was pure perfection.
