I’ve seen documentary’s and tv shows about this case but still never really understood why he did what he did. This book not only goes through the crimes but also adds Peter Sutcliffes voice about his crimes. Many will wonder why he did what he did, but after listening to this book it’s obvious to me he was a vile excuse for a man who allowed his narcissistic side to destroy so many lives with no remorse for his victims or their families.

Highlighted the complete incompetence of the police force. Outrageous that Sutcliffe was allowed to devastate so many lives for so long. Very informative reading. My thoughts remain with the victims & their families.

It is not possible to enjoy reading about the awful murders of so many women. I spent time in Yorkshire as a 17yo in 1978, my parents must have been terrified for me. This is a well researched and well written book. It gives a real insight into who Peter Sutcliffe was. I would recommend it if you are interested in the Yorkshire Ripper.
