This is one of my favourite Christie stories, translation into French was very competent, narrator excellent. The only significant downside was the ghastly music in the beginning of each chapter. It really poisoned my enjoyment

Great story, awful music

You can’t fault the story - one of Christie’s best and that’s saying something. Beautifully translated and read - my only criticism is that the narrator’s performance of the main female character is a sexist caricature, he’s made her sound like a helpless five year old and verges on the absurd. Apart from that it’s an excellent version.
