Summary

Inspiré à Balzac par son expérience dans l'imprimerie, Illusions perdues raconte l'échec de Lucien de Rubempré, jeune provincial épris de gloire littéraire. En contrepoint au parcours malheureux de ce "grand homme de province", alternativement héros et antihéros plein de faiblesses, l'histoire évoque les modèles de vertu que sont la famille de Lucien et le "Cénacle", cercle intellectuel de "vrais grands hommes". Les "illusions perdues" sont celles de Lucien face au monde littéraire et à sa propre destinée, mais aussi celles de sa famille envers les capacités et les qualités humaines du jeune homme. Une réflexion métaphysique sur le sens d'une société et d'une époque placées, entre cynisme et mélancolie, sous le signe de la perte et de la désillusion.

Lecture très mauvaise

Désolé mais le lecteur est atroce.
Je ne pourrais finir ce livre. Monotone et sans intonations en rapport avec le texte.
