©2018 Kimberly Cash Tate (P)2023 Cling Productions LLCI appreciated that Kim Cash Tate dealt with some tough topics in this novella (I won't say what they are, so as not to give anything away!). Yet, elements of the plot did at times feel repetitious, as they come up so often in her (other) novels.
KCT's narration is not the best, as she doesn't put on specific voices for specific characters. That said, the plot is so good and the Christian themes so well encapsulated in the storyline, that you can overlook the limitations of the narration.
