Summary

This program features Katie doing The Work at public events with people on the subject of our bodies. The first two pieces feature a woman on the size of her breasts, and a man on his tendency to lose his erection. In the third piece, a woman questions her belief that her overweight body is damaged and unattractive.

Is there a part of your body you are frustrated with or would like to change? Then welcome to The Work.

The Work is very powerful but

But the book is not particularly mind-blowing. It does help understand a little how the work is performed and gives some ideas for turn around, which are useful.

short and powerful

At first I was like oh no I wasted a credit on a book that's only an hour, I have changed my mind. This was so influential I highly recommend it

So powerful!

Listening to their stories, words, tears and vulnerable thoughts is amazingly insightful for recognizing my own. Will listen to more of her work!

Practical views to stop harsh thoughts

Amazing instruction on how to change detrimental self images. Beautiful live stories of people starting "the work" better then any self help book on self image! Live that she loves Jesus!!

Nothing very insightful here

This is just a taped group session. Three people struggle with their shame, and Byron has them rephrase their thoughts about it. There is no explanation about the process and no real solutions offered. For example, the man struggling with ED is told that it doesn't really matter and that it is his truth.
