Brooke Kent hasn't spoken to a single member of her family in thirteen years.

That's all changed when her younger brother calls her to invite her to his wedding. He tells her to bring her girlfriend, partner, spouse, or the woman she hooks up with on Tuesdays; he doesn't care who, just wants her there. Brooke would be tempted to take him up on that, only she's painfully single.

When she tells her two best friends about her dilemma, they suggest that Brooke invite Anna Fourchette, the woman Brooke has been pining over for almost a year. To Brooke's surprise, Anna agrees. Can Brooke really handle a week in London dealing with her estranged family? And more importantly, can she pretend to date the woman of her dreams without falling in love for real along the way?

loved the accents and the charm, I would recommend to any sapphic story lover. Is genuinely one of the best books or audios I've experienced

beautiful love story

I wasn’t expecting much from this, but honestly loved every second. Again the narrator missed the mark with the Brit accent like saying flarsh cards instead of just flash. Other than the small gripes, it’s a wonderful few hours, well worth a listen.

Great listen

A frustratingly slow burn. I enjoyed the story and the narrator is fantastic. Would like to have had more of the story after the irritatingly long wait.

Great characters and a lovely outcome

I know that the narrator is absolutely doing their best and I'm sure to a non-Brit the accents may be passable but every character misses the mark accent wise and it was a painful listen. The story premise was a good one, very slow burn which did affect the pace a bit.

A very hard listen if you're British!

This is a delightful beautiful slow burn romance, and it's such a sweet emotional journey for everyone.
Thrown away by her parents when they discover she is kissing a girl, she learns to survive away from the fam alone!
Her little brother reaches out yrs later when he is getting married.
She decides to take a fake date to the wedding, a big F.YOU to the parents.
However love starts to blossom for real, and together they explore the possibility of more.💞
Excellent narration, Quinn rocks this. 🎶

FAB. ❤
