…But what if that’s the only thing you can remember?

A woman is washed up on a remote Greek island with no recollection of who she is or how she got there.

Does a husband ever truly know his wife? Or a wife know her husband? Why is Eloïse missing? Why did she forget?
The truth is found in these pages…

God idea but ultimately an anti climax

Without spoiling, it's an intriguing story with three distinct sections: mystery, abuse, joy. Each of these parts is a good listen, and I was competently drawn equally into areas which relate to my life and which taught me about those where I have no personal experience.
Comparing to other books in the genre, this book stands out because of the characters. I felt a genuine empathy for ALL the characters, both because of the writing and the excellent narration. I truly liked them all (except one). I felt they were friends, and that I was making decisions along with them.
In short, it's extremely well written and narrated.
I'd recommend this to anyone who likes stories and how normal people respond to an unusual situation, and to explore real lives unlikely to have been experienced by the average audible listener.
such an enjoyable book
