Komméno Island, Greece: I don't know where I am, who I am. Help me.

A woman is washed up on a remote Greek island with no recollection of who she is or how she got there.

The ending was a complete surprise!!! A bit slow to start, but then I was hooked. Engaging story, "cliff hanger" literally and figuratively. I really enjoyed this one! Very clever twists of all kinds!

Really surprising!

I thought I’d worked out a weak play but I hadn’t, not at all.
Very good..

Didn’t see that coming

The book was ok but it didn’t grab me the way others have. I would describe it as an ok holiday book but certainly no exciting page turner.

God idea but ultimately an anti climax

Just finished I know My Name and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A woman vanishes from her home, taking no keys, cards, nothing. Leaving two children behind. She is a loving wife and mother, so why would she walk out? Was she taken? The story then goes to a remote private island near Crete, where a young woman is rescued by a writing group on retreat. She's lost her memory. They care for her and arrange for the local boatman to come get her off the island when she has recovered. Somehow things don't turn out to be what they seem.

The police interview the husband, among others. If he is as happily married as he says, why the affair. Now, you might think you have this book sorted out. Boy, would you be wrong!

Quite a page turner!

A very well told story of an abused child without graphics (which would have it unreadable for me). It was told so well of a child through to adulthood with her own children, her mind then can't cope as she realises her 4 year old son is the age when she was first abused. I never read this type of storyline but would definitely recommend.

Heart Renching
