1987: After being presumed lost for two years, a damaged Mars probe mysteriously returns to Earth. Entering the atmosphere and spreading a deadly virus across the globe, the unmanned spacecraft rains down an apocalyptic hell on the humans below. 2007: Twenty years later, the survivors of the Mutant apocalypse live in walled cities away from the creatures that roam the wastelands at night looking for warm flesh to feed on. Akachi is a former pit fighter and Mutant Bounty Hunter with a deadly secret. After being savagely mauled by a mutant twenty years ago, she didn’t turn into a mindless monster, but became stronger and faster than the average human.
Akachi was a sharp edged weapon against the mutant hordes that were now starting to change and walk in the daylight, which was once a haven for the human survivors.
