It was one of my favourite ghibli films as I loved the world.

I wanted to know more and the book didn’t disappoint. Beautifully read aloud and struggled to pause.

I have come very late to Diana Wynne Jones and wish I had found her books when I was younger. This is a great coming of age story and the narrator is second to none! If you have not heard this audio, I fully recommend you to try it. I'm only sorry that the second and third books in this series are not narrated by Kristin Atherton. I will be looking out for more books she has narrated though.

This was the most amazing thing! An enchanting tale, adventure, love, hate, a worthy nemesis and beautiful narration. Kristin Atherton’s ability to bring characters to life, making them her own is something I admire greatly. I fell absolutely in love with Howl and Sophie and the rest of the cast - at times it really felt like this was a full cast audiobook. Just that seen with all Sophie’s friends and family in one place is a masterpiece!

I loved this! Please give me more!
