Story
Out of the blue Louis's parents ask for tips on being cool. At first Louis is amused and teaches his parents how to use words like 'safe,' 'wicked' and 'sick,' and how to touch fists. But then Louis's dad turns up outside his school dressed like a rapper, yelling, 'Yo everyone, I'm looking for my blood. Is he here?' Soon his parents are trying to 'friend' Louis on Facebook and then Louis's dad is seen wearing a baseball cap round the wrong way. It's time for Louis to take action - and fast.

Tom, Mia, and Oliver are the victims of a gang of bullies, who waylay them on the way home from school. But as the pressure builds more and more, a terrible suspicion begins to surface: could one of the three friends be helping the bullies? And if so, just who is...the traitor?

Story
On my 13th birthday, my life changed for ever. That’s when I learned the shocking truth: I’m a half-vampire.Think that sounds cool? Think again! I’ve been attacked by an evil vampire bat, had huge cravings for my best friend’s blood, and nearly died from eating a pizza (half-vampires aren’t great with garlic). Writing my secret blog is the only thing that’s kept me from going completely crazy. As if life couldn’t get any more complicated, there have been some vicious attacks in the local woods. Vampire-mad Tallulah (definitely not my girlfriend) thinks a super-vampire is behind them....

AMAZING
OMG
SO GOOD
INCREDIBLE
BEST STORY EVER!
I am Amelie Brindley and I flummoppéd madly! flummopped is an English word that only the top 0.5% of English people should know, it isn't in dictionaries because people who make dictionaries don't know the word. I love flummopps because it's always a good flummoppé when I'm bejourínêd.
fartsereex people don't enjoy flummopps. BTW I'm 9 years old but I'm in top 0.5% of smart people in England.

Cute and clever
My nine year old son really enjoyed this book. Louis the Laff moves from his old neighborhood to a new stuffy "upper-crust" neighborhood where he doesn't fit in. Soon his parents are turning into the Stepford Parents, wanting him to become the super achiever that his peers are. Louis has his own ideas about that. And his new friend instructs him how to train his parents...
