About this listen
Down, Boy
Anna Moder has just witnessed a shooting, seen her car pulverized, and rescued a wounded stranger - only to discover he's really a werewolf. And by her recent standards, things are actually looking up. Lycanthropes don't faze Anna. Doctoring a wolf pack outside Grundy, Alaska, is the closest thing to home life she's known in years. But hitching a ride to Anchorage with long-absent pack member Caleb Graham - that's a risk. Part of her itches to whack his nose with a newspaper. The rest is trying unsuccessfully to keep her own paws off every delicious inch of him.
The problem is, Caleb employs his lupine tracking abilities as a not-quite-legal bounty hunter, and Anna is suspicious of both him and his profession. On the run from her past, with old problems closing in, she'd like to stay far, far away from anybody with connections to the law. Caleb, however, seems determined to keep her close. Are his intentions noble, or is he working a more predatory angle?
Anna's been dreaming of returning to a semi-normal life, but now she's experiencing a strange new urge. . . to join Caleb in running with the wolves.

I loved this book! It was so good from start to finish! I really loved both the characters Anna/Tina and Caleb, they were so good for each other even if they did hit a couple of bumps as their relationship progressed.
Tina (known as Anna to the pack) was on the run from a controlling, abusive ex-husband, shed been really happy as the pack's doctor but when she received an alert that her ex may have found her she ran cause she didn't want to drag the pack into her problems and was afraid of facing her abusive ex.
Caleb is a bounty hunter and cousin to our favourite werewolves Cooper, Maggie and Samson. He's been away from the valley for a few years now but still in regular contact with the pack so he's heard all about Dr Moder from Maggie.
I loved the banter between them and how close they got although they nearly didn't end up together cause of the secrets each of them were keeping but I'm so glad things worked out for them and that in the end she did trust in the pack to help her. I don't think her ex will be bothering her ever again!
I also loved the updates on the pack members and what was happening with the merging of the two packs and with the relationships we seen forged over the previous two books! I also loved he twist with who Tina's network contact Red-Burn was! I really hope we get more in this series
Brilliant

Even though I would argue that the other books sd flap have their serious notes, I know that trauma about domestic abuse can read differently.
All in all, I did enjoy it!
And it was lovely to get that small bit at the end to link this series to the Half Moon Hollow universe.
Though. Say what you want. It is weird that nobody ever really mentioned vampires existing!
I enjoyed it
