About this listen

An historical and hypothetical survey of revolution, civil war, and sedition. Tracing the causes of government overthrow from the beginning of humanity to 2019, this book has enough meat for the political scientist and political junkie alike yet easy-to-listen for the curious. Its contents will prompt further investigation or at least a good cynical knee-jerk.

I I am becoming addicted to Roderick EdwardsNon-fiction books. The one he has great insight on the topic of overthrowing governments about those that were successful and those that were not so successful. I also love the fact that his books aren’t 12 hours long or more as most historians like to do. My favorite part of the book was when he talks about how if people get what they want there’s always someone else who wants something different. In essence there could never really be a utopian society… At least not for everyone. There is so much to love about this book and so much I want to say but you’ll have to read it for yourself and I highly recommend you do. It is well thought out with great insights and great narration by the narrator. I thought he had A really great voice and one that I could listen to again and again. This book is so worth the credit

Another great book by Roderick Edwards!
