About this listen

A step-by-step audio guide to making the perfect loaf.

The at-home equivalent of attending a bread-baking workshop, this audio guide brings the professional into your kitchen to share with you all the secrets you need to create truly delicious loaves of your own.

Whether you're a bread beginner or dough dabbler looking to hone your skills, this audiobook is packed with information that will help you understand bread-baking and how to take it to the next level.

As well as being a community baker, Barney is the skills editor at BBC Good Food - Britain's number one food media brand - so he knows all there is to know about bread, and he can't wait to pass on his experience and knowledge for a successful loaf to you.

Such a useful and clear linear guide - audio books don't make great reference books but this one is simply stepped out and a pause now and again is good. Of course, pages and pictures would be best but a few listens, scribbled notes and the PDF work well. For the price, highly recommended.
