I felt like this one was the best. There was an actual story, with a background and depth. I found myself really loving Bubbles too!

I really enjoyed this one.

Princess Bubbles made me laugh - she always made sure she escaped to the most interesting places. My favourite part was Bubbles biting James when he was busy doing a very naughty thing in the bathroom and then having Connor run in to see James in a very mortifying state lol.

A fantastic friends to lovers story with plenty of suspense, mystery, humour and sexy times.

The narrator was excellent throughout too.

Remember Charlie’s brother Connor? Well, he got his own book, AND his own bodyguard. Except you may recall that James was an old friend of Connor’s from school, though he was known as Jamie back then. Bisexual-awakening, second chance, friends-to-lovers; this book has it all.

Nick Hudson’s narration continues to be on point. His grasp of the nuances of voice work is impeccable. His handling of private times is smouldering and his management of the more suspenseful scenes divine.

I continue to truly enjoy this series and love how Nick Hudson brings the characters to life.

this is my favorite book in the series! Friends to lovers and second chance love are two of my favorite tropes in romance. Add to the mix a hot bodyguard with a heart of gold, a little bit of hurt/comfort and an adorable pet turtle and you get this amazing book. I loved it very very much! And the narrator really is marvelous!!

No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good dialogues
Old love isn’t dead yet and the sheets are on fire.
