About this listen
Does your dog really love you? Or, like many owners, is your dog only your best friend when you are cuddling on the couch? When you step outside your front door, is he more interested in every passing dog, bird or half-eaten bag of chips that you come across?
Does the mere thought of letting your dog off lead get your heart racing with panic?
Well that's how I used to feel, until I discovered how to control - and train - my dog using play. Now I enjoy stress-free walks wherever I take him.
I couldn't find a book that would help, so I wrote this one so that you can discover it too.
When you have finished this book, you will know:
- Why your dog does all those highly annoying things he does - and how you can stop him
- Why it's not your dog's fault but you can quickly improve any situation by following the lessons I teach
- How to find your dog's Kryptonite. This is the thing that will help you transform your naughty pooch into a delightful dog that is the envy of other dog owners
- Where the best place is to train your dog, so you can quickly eliminate bad habits, and avoid the frustration and guilt you feel when you are telling-off your dog all the time
- Who is the best person to help you improve your dog's bad habits (Hint he is standing in your shoes right now)
- What you can do today to go from being an invisible owner to your dog's superhero
- And why you don't need a degree in canine psychology to do it!
This is a complete, no BS guide to how I went from hapless dog walker to successful trainer.
I promise this book will give you the roadmap and confidence you need to train your own dog and have him following you around the park like the Pied Piper, in just six weeks!

All too often books are written with the intention of helping dog owners, but they inevitably turn into a 100 pages of science and complicated scenarios which seem to be more aimed at other dog trainers than owners.
Dom has managed to cram this book with simple actionable steps that any dog owners can start using before they've even finished the book.
If your dog pulls, barks, runs away, doesn't come back...
If you're frustrated, embarrassed and annoyed because of your dog...
If you don't know what to do to solve your dogs problems and find all of the science too confusing...
Then get this book and do as Dom tells you.
It's simple and it's effective.
Cracking book mate.
Finally a proper book for proper dog owners!

First time I've ever had an audio book and loved it .... being able to read a book without having to find my reading glasses, listening to it in the car and doing my house work and ironing at the same time was great, plus I got to finish the book in quick time so I could put all I learnt from the book into practice!!Loved this book

Dominic's book is a good introduction to dog training for those that are new to having and/or training dogs. The book is presented in a way that is humorous and therefore easy to read. I read a previous bad review regarding the swearing. For me the swearing was one of the highlights, it kept me entertained and made Dom very relatable. I like the audiobook for that reason. Dominic's character comes out along with his 'Dad Humour' which I love.I didn't agree with some of the points that Dominic makes and as such I can't give it a 5 star. Although I appreciate opinions will always differ. The main issue I disagreed with was the emphasis on preventing your dog playing with other dogs (they should play with you instead). Whilst I agree with this to some degree I think sometimes Dominic took it a bit too far and I would worry that it could result in an under-socialised dog and all of the problems that come with that. I don't want to reveal too much of the book but there were a few other points that I found myself disagreeing with.
The book is certainly an enjoyable read and I have already found myself recommend it to a client. Dominic has made dog training very accessible for those that might of otherwise been put off by the more laborious style of other books in the genre and for that he should be commended.
Enjoyable and Humorous
