Life changing!
Bits made me cry with compassion for my struggles that made no sense for 45 years of my life. I'd love my family to read / listen to this and understand. Teachers, doctors and parents everywhere would be better at what they do if they could hear the struggles and the strengths of us ADHD'ers! Life changing.

The perfect starting point!
I’ve often been stuck with decision paralysis on which adhd book to start with (adhd lol). But picked this one after hearing the author speak on a podcast and don’t regret it.
What this book is, is a journey through the many real life challenges people with adhd face, some familiar and some less obvious. Presented in funny, quirky way by the author that makes it more engaging for people with adhd. (Maybe annoying for some)
Finishing it, it has made my next steps to managing adhd more clear, shed light on areas that I didn’t realise were adhd related, also made me more positive, despite some hard truths the book presents.
What this book isn’t, is a detailed “how to adhd” one size fits all system, as the title might suggest. Because it doesn’t exist. I found it’s honesty refreshing and has inspired me to search out solutions from a wide number of recommendations that work for me.

A must read
Have already sent this as a gift to friends. Thank you. One suggestion- it would be helpful if the chapter titles were visible in app. It’s hard to navigate the chapters without. Am looking forward to getting the paper book when it is out in the UK because I’ve heard how accessible it is regarding formatting, navigation, white space, non-linear readability - perhaps audible need a nudge to figure out how to make their audiobooks as accessible as their printed counterparts :-)

A little too fast and for not born english a little hard to follow, but still it was OK.

Great book, even after watching most of her YouTube videos.
Definitely worth getting, it covers a lot of the less discussed ADHD issues like sleep disorders, problems refocusing on a task, problems relaxing ,relationship struggles /friendships, forgetfulness etc and offers multiple possible options to manage specific ADHD problems.

At last I understand myself!
Having dipped in and out of the ‘How to ADHD’ channel, I was familiar with Jessica’s work.
However, having everything pulled together in one place is invaluable.
Timing as they say is everything. Having raised my children, including one with additional needs, I now have time to reflect on my own difficulties.
This book has answered so many questions, enabling me to understand how ADHD runs through my every move and thought process!
I always knew I was wired differently but can now see why.
The book is the perfect balance of Jessica’s explanations and stories, research references to back up the latest thinking and lived examples from a global community who have come together through this inspired author looking for a brain dump
How lucky are we - Thank you.

Powerful, informative and inspiring
My ADHD brain loved this book. I often read ADHD books and fail to learn anything new. This book is so ADHD friendly that I’m actually going to order a hard copy to share with my (mostly) neurodivergent family. It strikes the balance between recognising the very real challenges ADHDers experience and positively.
If you want to learn more or find a relatable book, read this!

Perfect for ADHD Brains & The Hearts who love them - listen if you think you have ADHD
Great, informative book full of research and facts and sprinkled with andecdotes to add some much needed human experience to the mix. I loved this book, and it's helped me understand a few of my quirks and why I have them. I love that this is available in an engaging audiobook so it doesn't become another dusty tome I've gotten halfway through. Author really knows how to engage her audience on their level!
