Summary
In the yellow hues of the African plains, hunting was easy for the leopard, whose light coat served as camouflage. When all the animals moved away, the hungry leopard had to follow them to the striped, splotchy, spotted forest. But he didn't stand a chance of survival unless, of course, he acquired spots himself. Actor Danny Glover narrates this inspired adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling classic, which comes alive with rich language and subtle humor as well as the gentle sounds of South African a cappella harmonies performed by Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Ages five and up. Part of the award-winning Rabbit Ears series, Storybook Classics.

Lovely!
The narration and background music are entrancing. We listened to this over and over when my son was tiny and I'm thrilled to have it again.

A beautiful reading
I really liked the chorus singing along in the background, and the narrator had a very warm and expressive voice. Definitely one for my 'can't sleep' pile. (I'm sure children would like it too.)
