I don't want to be mean. I understand she has been though unthinkable pain.
but, I thought she could share a bit more of Paris's childhood, the years he existing as only child...and more of him a big brother of Ella.
But all the hours of listening is repeatedly moaning and depression
she hates her mother..maybe just like Paris hates her. But as a reader, there's no Reveal of "why".
there's very quick and strong withdraw of love from her toward Paris. although she claims "I love my son, no matter what"...

Repetitive, lacking insight, superficial. Understandable that author would want to keep certain information private but missed opportunity to offer insight into complex issues and awful tragedy.
Narration dreadful.

this is a story about pain and suffering and the unconditional love of a mother. the story is utterly heart breaking and every mothers nightmare. charity is so poetic in her words and her love for her children shines through with every heart breaking, bitter sweet word. she really is the most amazingly strong woman.

I found this book enthralling, I could not put it down, I felt every bit of pain and turmoil like I was actually experiencing it myself.

this is a truly unbelievable story but yet it is not fiction this actually happened.

the narrative is wonderful and I was often brought to tears listening.

I highly recommend this book
