It’s an average good book that’s easy listening. Lots of characters that it might have been easier to get to know if I read the paperback. It was difficult to know who was who because the narrator has a tendency to do make male voices sound like a pensioner. I sometimes couldn’t tell if it was the elderly lady next door or her uncle or boyfriend. I wasn’t crying with laughter or anything, it’s got a bit of a English middle class feel to it, if you like Miranda you might laugh out.

Overall though I enjoyed it and well worth a credit.

Such a great book for escapism and I found myself laughing out loud on my commute in my car. I found myself really routing for Emma and now I’ve finished the book I’m going to miss her!!

I literally chuckled and sniffed all the way through this book. You can't help but fall in love with each and every character and the narrator illustrates them perfectly with her various voices. Lovely story, made me smile from ear to ear and was sad when it was over.

Hilarious and Uplifting
