Very helpful, as well as engaging.

If you could sum up How Christianity Changed the World in three words, what would they be?

Well defended, well communicated, and important

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

He talked about some ugly historical events, some of which I'd rather not think about -- but worth the trouble for the insights gained.

A book I have been looking for

This is a book that I could not put down. I've wanted a source that looked at the history of Christianity and its influence in our world condensed in one book. there may be others out there but the title captured my attention and I'm pleased it did.

very informative

great book, I learned so much and appreciate everything.the only part I would disagree on, or would like more of the authors opinion on is the part about music. his opinion seems very legalistic, and lacking in Grace and understanding

Too much trumpet

Useful info with triumphant, mostly Protestant point of view. It comes off like a long talking points list. It doesn't draw you in.

Like no other religion

This book was required reading for one of my classes and I looked forward to it every day. James Adams does an excellent job of reading Alvin Schmidt's book which systematically covers the benefits Christianity has bestowed on our world.

Astounding

This book gave such overwhelming examples of exact and specific ways that Christianity has changed our world, I find myself quite blown away. A fabulous book that any history lover (Christian or otherwise) should make sure not to miss.
