Clean Hope!

I really enjoyed this easy to read, interesting story in the form of an audiobook and was able to listen to it in a few hours.
It is well written, flows nicely from scene to scene, has a pair of really nice main characters who bravely face the hardships that life dishes up and do something with their lives that impact on their relationship and improve it.
This is the type of story that could rekindle hope and trust in one's life and that could possibly help a lot of people.
I enjoyed the narration by Jessica Caruso which was easy to listen to and I found it a pleasure to listen to.
My voluntary review above is unbiased and written after listening to an ARC copy of the audiobook.

Refreshing listen!

Barbara Goss does it again! Hope is a story of exactly that! Hope! Hope becomes a mail order bride. She and her new outlaw groom become part of wagon train, but before consummating the marriage, he is killed. Newly widowed Daniel and Hope each need a spouse to stay on the train. Will their marriage continue once they reach Oregon? I love these stories. Goss keeps them fresh with a completely new story line each time. This one was emotional. While Hope had no love for her first husband, Daniel felt his soulmate's death right down to his soul. I could feel his conflict and grief. At the same time, I loved how things moved and their paths changed. It's a story of faith and hope, and growing love. I absolutely adored the epilogue! Another beautiful story to add to my collection.

Jessica Caruso is a new narrator to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed her narration. She has a good pacing and her voices are wonderful. She brings emotional tugs and light to the story and made it a very enjoyable listen.

Happy Tears!!!

I loved this!! Hope was so sweet and I felt so much for her!! Daniel was pretty impressive too! I loved how he loved Hope, but without the misunderstandings this story wouldn't pull upon the heart quite as much!! I loved the plot and the pacing and the narrator did a fabulous job of bringing this alive!! Her spacing was prefect and her variety of tones and voices was awesome! I love listening to anything that Ms. Goss has written. Her words just entertain and the messages of hope and love really do feed the soul! I do hope to listen to more from both of these ah-mazing women!!!

You have my whole heart

Hope is an mail order bride but she learns what she was told is not the truth .
Her husband is not who he says he is and she is not wanting to stay with him so she plans to get an annulment as soon as she gets to Oregon .
Daniel's wife passes away and he still needs to continue his journey to Oregon to see his father who is getting ready to pass even though he he is grieving the love of his life .
Hope 's husband is living a double life and his gangster friends pay him a visit but it's not a friendly visit and her husband is killed. Hope has a wagon with supplies and no one to help her so what does she do now .
The man head of the wagon train suggest the two get married and help each other, but Daniel is only willing to do it because he needs the help . It would be a strictly business arrangement and an annulment would happen as soon as they got to Oregon .
Daniel would provide for her, give her land , and build her a cottage .
That's the right thing to do because he never could love Hope the way he loved his deceased wife .
Daniel's father has his on plans .
I do not want to give away the sweet romance that has enough cowboy action to please anyone who likes westerns .
So go listen to the love story of Hope and Daniel today .

It has sweet romance , secrets , action / suspense , and a message about god .
This audio book is an audio book that the listener will not want to stop listening to .
It's an audio book that needs to be your audio book library .

Hope

Such a beautifully written sweet story.

When Hope and Daniel are brought together by less than ideal situations, they decide to make the best of things and help each other out. When their marriage of convenience has the potential to become so much more, can they open their hearts to the possibility?

I highly recommend you check out Barbara Goss’ stories, you won’t be disappointed!

A lovely narration by Jessica Caruso. She really brought out the emotions of the story.

Loved it!

Hope's insecurities and need for love almost cost her a knight in shining cowboy hat! Growing up in an orphanage leaves her with an overwhelming since of yearning for someone to truly love her with his whole heart. She lost her first love to the Civil War and then settled for someone looking to find adventure. Two strikes and she prays that this third venture holds true. This is a spectacular book that has it all...love, adventure, mystery, and an ending that wraps it all up...but yet you still want more!!

This story is also an audiobook. The narrator did a great job with the story. She brought the story to life for me. Hope is a mail-order bride. When she meets her husband to be she not sure what to make of him. Later she finds out that he was an outlaw. When he dies she has to marry another man that name is Daniel. Daniel is a nice guy that is also a newly widowed. If you want a story that will hold your attention this. might be it. I received an audio copy from the author to do an honest review.

Every job Hope tried she failed. What was next?

Was a mail order bride her only hope. This author, Barbara Goss, shows that the mail order choice could go very wrong. With many turns and problems was there a way for Hope to find love? I like the way this author shows the chances taken, and problems with going west as a mail order bride. I thought this book well written, and the narrative was done well.

Faith, Hope and Love

Hope is the title of this wonderful story of faith, hope and love, just as written in 1st Corinthians 13.
Hope is also the name of one of the main characters in this story and she had a lifetime of struggles and hard times but she always remained hopeful. I really enjoyed this love story written by Barbara Goss and I highly recommend it. Also, Jessica Caruso does a great job with the narration.

Interesting

This is an audiobook. The narrator did a great job with this story. She brought the story to life for me. Being a mail-order bride Hope thought most of her troubles were over. Did she get a good husband that would be kind and provide for her?
Hope was an interesting character with a personality I enjoyed. I also enjoyed the other characters that made the story stand out in my mind. I love wagon trains and the different things they faced along the way. This book had it all danger, sickness, grief and romance.
If you want a historical book that holds your attention read this one or listen to the audio like I did.
I received this book from the author but was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
