This was really good! I’m starting to really like sports romance book and I’m seeking them out more. Quinn Riley did an amazing job as always with the audiobook. I highly recommend this book, even if you’re not a sports or basketball fan!

Brilliant narration!

I gotta admit this book surprised me a couple times, often something would happen and id say to myself "great, here we go heres when sh- oh. nevermind that didn't happen. cool." this happened to me multiple times i swear! multiple easy, basic stroylines were available to the author to create the classic drama or over the top moments but the author just kept dodging them! While listening i realised what this book is. Its REALISTIC. Yes it takes place in the WNBA so few will ever experience it, duh, but it feels REAL. The dialogue sounds like it would be spoken. The petty drama and snide remarks from jealously don't feel forced. The attraction between Lex and Eva feels natural. My god people we have a couple here that talk to eachother openly. You read that right, they TALK! And when they let their bodies talk for them? phew! Steam levels rise high yall. For all its down to earth feeling, i never found myself bored.
Overall, this was a blast. I enjoyed the heck outta it. Oh and the narration? i mean its Quinn Riley, of course its brilliant.

this enemies to lovers beautiful story seems different to others of type, the relationship quickly changes for the teams sake, but chemistry and deep feeling develop, both main characters are excellently written and totally believable, the romance has an emotional intensity, enhanced superbly in the narration.

This is a fantastic captivating storyline, exploring the world of basketball. I don't know much about the sport but I was absorbed in the dynamics of this competitive life, and this is a wild ride.
Excellent narration, loved it. 🎶
