I read this book back when I was 11 because school made me and really enjoyed it. just listened to it again in my 30s and still really enjoyed it

I really enjoyed listening to this. The narration was slow and steady so you could enjoy it fully.
Although written for children, the series can be enjoyed by all ages. Dicey and her little family will captivate you so you will hope that their long journey will take them Home.

I love the progression of the storyline. The little adventures go on and surprising people to help them out along the way. The underlying reason for the story is so sad,but well written. I have just bought it for my 12 Yr old daughter to read,after she listened to some of mine. ( I'm visually impaired and can no longer read,audio books are a God send!)

What was most disappointing about Cynthia Voigt’s story?

Story just plodded on, couldn't engage with the characters, dull storyline, eventually gave up listening
