Summary
Return to the magical world of Nevermoor, where Morrigan Crow's adventures continue - a perfect gift for all book lovers.
Morrigan Crow and her friends have survived their first year as proud scholars of the elite Wundrous Society, helped bring down the nefarious Ghastly Market and proven themselves loyal to Unit 919. Now Morrigan faces a new, exciting challenge: to master the mysterious Wretched Arts and control the power that threatens to consume her.
But a strange and frightening illness has taken hold of Nevermoor, turning infected Wunimals into mindless, vicious Unnimals on the hunt. As victims of the Hollowpox multiply, panic spreads. And with the city she loves in a state of fear, Morrigan quickly realises it's up to her to find a cure for the Hollowpox, even if it will put her - and everyone in Nevermoor - in more danger than she ever imagined.

Great story - great series
This book was one of my favourites and really develops. The Hollowpox pandemic is relatable with recent Covid-19 pandemic and all the politics involved.

Another utterly brilliant Nevermoor book
Got these for my kids but the three Nevermoor books are now among my favourite stories of all time (I'm 38). They are gripping, totally and refreshingly unpredictable and magnificent. The characters are excellent and, although the settings are weird and wonderful, Morrigan's thoughts and feelings are so relatable and endearing. I love the indulgent, warm, cosiness and the fabulously exciting, spooky, creepy parts too (the first book starts a bit dark and takes a while to blossom but stick with it, it's sooo worth it). Even the names of places and people are inspired. The narrator is also brilliant and does voices for different characters. I can't wait for the fourth book and hope they never stop coming! Enjoyed these much more than Harry Potter.

OMG so good
This is one of the best books I've ever heard. It is wonderful story full of magic, secrets and plot twists. It is wonderfully narrated and it feels as though there are actually different people for each character. This book makes you feel as though you have been transported in to a totally different world to our own full of magic and wonder! It is a must have book for any Harry Potter fan.

Happy road trips with the Nevermoor series.
Great audiobooks for the whole family. Our boys, 7 and 10, are both enjoying the series, with its well-balanced mix of characters. The narration is excellent, fabulously bringing the stories to life. The more subtle comic moments go a little over the head of our younger boy, but are well-appreciated by our older son (an example being the negotiation between Jack and Morrigan). This doesn't diminish our younger boy's enjoyment of the story. We are all looking forward to the next book.
