Lennox Kennedy is beautiful, loud, and the love of my life. She's also my ex-girlfriend.

The first time I saw her after ten years apart, I slammed into the plexiglass minutes before our game was set to begin. The second time I threw up. A good second chance story! the yearning was there and the plot was good.
I am not hugely into hockey. Books but this one was a nice book to dip my toes in

I really enjoyed the narration between these two Narrators. Duel narration is my favourite and Teddy and Samantha complimented each other well and brought these characters to life. I loved it.

I don’t normally leave reviews but there’s a lot of bad ones for this that I don’t agree with I believe it’s definitely worth a listen it’s easy going sweet and hot a great balance

It is not a standalone and whilst I didn’t know that going into listening to it, there are a LOT of characters and couples in this universe and it’s hard to remember who is who.

We follow the Langfield brothers and Aiden is the MMC.
He rekindles with a childhood sweetheart and this book gives you the hockey romance trope along with the wedding planner vibe.

It’s just bloody cute okay

People hate on these soppy romances and I don’t get why?! You KNOW what you’re getting into 🤣
I personally loved it.

I’m an avid hockey romance girly and I think the way this book was presented with the representation of men’s mental health in sport, the way a guy can be high functioning depressed and all the real raw things people ACTUALLY go through. Like it’s just 10/10.

Who doesn’t love a man who cannot resist turning everything into his own personal broadway show

The spice in this was just *chefs kiss* not overdone but when they got into it THEY GOT INTO IT 😍🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I would recommend this as a great soppy romance book to sink your teeth into and enjoy at your pleasure - I know I did 😉
