When a landowner discovers some old, human bones on his property, Search and Rescue Dog Trainer and amateur sleuth, Eve, and her furry buddy, Atlas, are called in to make sure that all of the remains are found. Things take a dark turn, however, when they find a collection of newer bones mixed in with the old. Realizing that they have stumbled upon a historical site that was used to cover up more current crimes, Eve is determined to find the perpetrator.

Bones are found and Eve is called. With her cadaver dog Atlas, they begin their task to see how many bodies are to be found on the land. An old skeleton and now a newer skeleton leads to questions. Can Eve help find out what is happening? So many questions, leads to suspects, but does everyone agree? Is it too obvious? I could not stop listening to this one. It was full of suspense, had me wondering and following the leads. This is a fun one!

Julie McKay keeps up her amazing narration, and I can't get enough. Every book is so good, and she has given me a community to hang out with and enjoy.
